Connected car security company CIOT (CEO Park Hyun-joo) announced on the 27th that it had signed a supplier contract with Microsoft Korea.

Through this supplier contract, it is possible to introduce Microsoft's Azure Internet of Things (IoT) solution to the 'vehicle monitoring device' developed by CIOT. If the Azure IoT solution is installed, data collected from devices can be sent to the Azure cloud for management and analysis.

CIOT also participated in Microsoft Korea's ECIF (End Customer Investment Funds) program at the same time and completed a proof of concept (PoC). With technical support from Microsoft Korea, CIOT applied an Azure-based application to the vehicle monitoring device, transmitted the vehicle mobility data collected in real time to the cloud, and successfully completed the test of monitoring in conjunction with Azure IoT Central.

Park HyeonJu, CEO of CIOT, said, "With the recent increase in the use of mobility data, the export of CIOT vehicle monitoring devices is expected to more than double this year compared to last year. We expect even better results in the field of mobility data care.”
